Isn't xenon in R4 worth "by default" in the near? In Kazakhstan, at least the official Camry 40 R4 comes with xenon in the middle.
How did xenon fit into the reversing lights? And why in the side lights? In the distant, why xenon? Long-range blinking if on the highway (and in the city) often the lamps quickly fail. On the Germans, back in the early 2000s, they put a bixenon in the lens of the near one, and in the far section there was still a halogen - for a "distant" signal, in this mode the bixenon does not move the shutter in the "lens".
