Opening of the season in DriveLand + installation of a carbon fiber hood - Toyota Corolla Levin, 1.6 L, 2000
I arrived at the races in an unprepared car - there was still a tall winter suspension (stock), which, moreover, was dead.
Plus there were obvious problems with the alignment collapse (after all my jumps from the trampolines in winter :)) But with a carbon hood! :) Lightening by 12 kilograms, plus a slightly better weight distribution and a much more evil look :)
With such a suspension, of course, I didn't have to rely on anything, I just really missed the races and wanted to understand and feel the car on summer tires, otherwise I had completely lost the habit during the winter.
I didn't really like the track itself, there are not enough high-speed turns, besides there are a couple of dangerous places, but it will do for a change.
The result of the competition ... 1st place in the class "Standard A" (monodrive up to 200 forces on road tires) and 3rd place in the class "Monoprivod Sport" (any mono-drive cars)
Behind there were such cars as the Evo 9, the brand new Ste, the Toyota MP-2 turbo, the battle curled pelvis (on road tires, he brought me a little bit on slicks :)) and a whole brood of brand new Renault Clio Sport (197 forces) at the head with the well-known Vadim Gagarin :) ( www.drive2.ru/cars/renaul..ort/clio_iii_sport/pilot/ )
