Rear Bumper & Exhaust - Toyota Celica, 2.0L, 2000
I ordered the rear bumper of my body kit last, a couple of months after installing the front bumper and sills.
During the fitting and fitting of the bumper, it turned out that my forked release would interfere with it. The situation is not good. We adjust the bumper, send it for painting and use a grinder to cut off the interfering Porsche-Style oval nozzles. Well, beauty requires sacrifice.
Then the question arose - what nozzles to put instead of the cut ones?
I had to spend quite a lot of time looking for an interesting option, suitable in size. And finally, he was found, a product from Buzzer was chosen.
The attachments, unfortunately, turned out to be very expensive, but I had no choice.
Then I went to the "Exhaust" service located on the Warsaw highway. Don't count it as advertising, it's just that people do their job with high quality and conscientiousness. It took about six hours to weld the line and carefully fit the nozzles along the ruler.
Well, that's what happened in the end!
Take a closer look. The shape of the attachments almost perfectly follows the contours of the bumper, and I have never seen the best release option for this body kit.
We made the same exhaust version on the former car of my girlfriend:

Another angle. Along the upper edge of the holes in the bumper, I put in two strips of orange LEDs that flash synchronously with the turn signal lamps.
After converting to four-wheel drive, it took a lot of effort to get the attachments back into place in the middle. In fact, the entire set was redesigned from scratch, but it was worth it! :)
Disco is generally niche, but there are a lot of jambs, maybe due to the fact that I took it from the very first deliveries ... there were already warranty cases and it really pisses me off, literally half an hour ago they called me from the service and I knocked out a substitution thanks to the Burning Land Line Rover, there was no choice but to call there and complain))) tomorrow they give a freelander! And they will fix mine! =) Yyyy
Thank you!
By the way, how is Discovery? We have a second car - Honda Element (simplicity and reliability), but we are thinking about Disco! :)
Thank you! Sounds loud, since there is practically only a straight pipe with a small resonator. If not for the turbine, it would be impossible to drive at all. The plans are still to make it quieter. For short distances, in principle, no problem, but here's a circle around the Moscow Ring Road, when the engine roars out at 3500-4000 rpm - no longer ice. And because of the roar, it’s bad to drive quietly, I want to spin the engine higher ... In general, a vicious circle! :)
