Instrument cluster: soldering - Toyota Corona, 1.8 L, 1992
The fun begins: SOLDERING!
We decided to solder 3 diodes per 1K resistor. Instead of etching, we sawed out paths and platforms :)
Food:
Diodes:
Power supply for testing (we were a little afraid of it :))
Attention ... Lit! )
And a control check in the toilet :)
The rest of the scales were made in the same way.
Conclusions:
The cheapest diodes were taken, and, accordingly, the dimmest. as it turned out later.
It may be necessary to add an additional diode to each soldered one.
Although, we decided to insert super-bright diode bulbs in the places of the standard illumination (at the ends of the diffusers). We hope that's enough.
And finally:
close upshit ... cold welding a melted hole in the shield.
To be continued!
about dim diodes ...
is there anything in the standard?
if not, then your bulbs will normally complement the effect and everything will be cool :-)
I am loading you guys are not lazy ... in which case you can always finish the diodes :-)
If we are talking about an optitron, then the backlight should even break through the tinted glass even during the day
