I thought for a long time whether to change or not to change, since I started tinkering with the sound, it was decided to install DLS. Moreover, tweets, like crossovers, were already DLS.
For this case, 2 plywood adapter rings were made.

I drilled holes, screwed in self-tapping screws and, having finished with one speaker, joyful ran the whole thing to test. We need to compare what was and what we received.

Kenwood removes the "stage" and makes the sound volumetric, there is more music in them, it seems that there is everything, but somehow everything is blurry ... in a word, porridge. DLS, on the other hand, give a clearer voice, harder bass and more and more collected, but somehow strongly intrusive and too much.
As a result, leaving the garage at 12 o'clock in the morning and stupefied by the music, it was decided to put on DLS. I came home, started putting together the second podium ... and then I found out that what I was looking for I didn't take = (The prospect of going to the garage and going to bed after an hour, and getting up before seven didn't inspire me ...
I installed the second speaker the next day In the evening I drove across the city on business and listened to music all the way.
After 2 days I returned everything back =) Still, when full music is playing, DLS only spoil the whole picture with their obsession and clarity. And the music itself fades into the background.
