Door lights - Toyota Will VS, 1.8L, 2002
I decided ramorochitsya illumination in the doorway.
Because I wanted to make it beautiful, i.e. so that the "collective farm" was not visible, I purchased ready-made lighting in the door from the PEUGEOT 308.
But I removed the W5W incandescent lamps from them (useful for the dimensions) and soldered a piece (12 diodes) of the LED strip (left over from previous projects) to the contacts.
removed the trim.
the back wall of the pocket had to be unsoldered for a while (it prevented me from installing the flashlight, then I soldered it back).
the bottom of the pocket also had to be slightly modified, otherwise the plafond would not fit. (The factory does not provide space for the plafond).
cut a rectangular hole DREMEL
and installed a shade.
Later I threw the wiring from the backlight of the ignition switch in the door. It turns on when you open the door and when you close it, it goes out smoothly. Price tag: 400 ₽ Mileage: 60 800 km
A great option. I have long thought about the lighting in the doorway. Just glue the LED strip from below in some kind of redneck, and this is a completely different matter. Therefore, respect and five.
Yes, it turned out beautifully :) and how much is one lamp from Peugeot?
Still, instead of a tape, solder a small scarf and more diodes :)
The idea is very good ... I really thought about putting a lamp on the mirror ... so that when you take off the security, you could see that at the door ...
Yes, it's a good idea. It was possible to put the backlight from Kalina, it is exactly the same, but probably much cheaper. I also did it myself more than 2 years ago, but I had a place in the door for illumination and the wiring in the door trim was wrapped in tape, but the ceiling itself was not there.
