Engine - Toyota Camry, 3.0L, 1992
The engine after the previous owner was not in very good condition. This did not appear immediately, at first both cylinder head gaskets broke. It seems to have been fixed with little losses. But soon a major overhaul of the internal combustion engine was required. At first, oil consumption appeared (about 1 liter per 10 t.km.), although I did not light it on the car. Then there were unnecessary noises and vibrations when the engine was running, the consumption increased (20l / 100km). They opened it. Bottom line: it is necessary to replace the piston, block boring, several valves for replacement ... In our city, no one undertook to sharpen such a block (V6). We decided to be puzzled by the search for the bottom of the collection. When they told me the price for it (75 tr + shipping), to put it mildly, I was not happy. Luckily, I sent a request to Vladivostok. And, lo and behold! I was offered my complete engine in excellent condition for 35 (including shipping). Of course I agreed. About 3 weeks of waiting - the ICE arrived. About another week for the installation (it turned out that more engine mounts were needed, and the engine that was sent to me turned out to be a newer model, although the model is the same). But not deceived - really in good condition (mmm). I'm still driving and I'm happy)))
