Suspension - Toyota Caldina, 2.0 L, 1996
Yesterday I replaced the silent blocks and hinges in the rear levers with polyurethane (polyurethan.ru). The experience of using polyurethane was 3 years ago and put the polyurethane (fulcrum) bushings of the stabilizers until now in perfect condition.
Let's see how polyurethane from polyurethan.ru works.
I put polyurethane because there is no original at all, and if there is, then only assembled with levers for 2200 for each lever. Silent blocks are only rbi, but as from practice they are known to live for 1 year (if you drive carefully).
I also replaced the support bearings for the suspension, the steering tips from my own experience noticed that the duplicate in the tips goes the same way as the original, but the only thing that needs to be done is just replace the boot with a better one because Korean anthers are made from cheaper raw materials and not withstand our climate, crack (as if this rubber is already 10 years old) and, as a result, break.
I also changed all the silent blocks in the front levers, but I put all the original there (just last year I bought them not to throw them out). Now the car goes rooted to the spot without unnecessary sounds.
At the end, I put my favorite wheels Rays gram lights r17. The summer riding season has begun! :)))
yes, it seems to be normal to the touch (there are no air bubbles in the world), as hard as the fulcrum. The only thing that confused at first, it seemed that he did not adhere well to the metal bushing, but when he began to press in about five millimeters, it disconnected, but the rest kept perfectly. I pressed the sweat myself as I don’t trust anyone. Feels like the suspension really became clear, whipped.
So come on, come on, I have polyurethane going from there =) share your feelings and workmanship =)
yes no it is in this every now and then the levers are put in working condition of the suspension. I did so at first I installed the levers but did not tighten then I let go of the jacks and held everything out
I had one joint, the polyurethane should be put in the lowered state, I was put on the suspended wheels (but I don't see much sense in this),
I don't know anymore, or I'll be orig. or maybe a febest can buy ...
yes I understand but there is no other way out rbi there is no desire to take on my 17 wheels it will quickly fall apart. I will watch now. Tell me, how did you change the levers on the lift?
I wrote to him that the full G I have, they stopped keeping everything after 3 months
I also try to do all the work myself, but in some cases I still use the services of a service station.
that's why I am a rare guest for a hundred, I do everything myself, I stop by to do only diagnostics or toe collapse
Moreover, these same people advised not to touch anything, they say, you touch it, then once a year you will change one hundred percent.
In general, I talked with walkers who have reason to trust. So, the guys say that 80% of the problems when using polyurethane and any other chassis elements are associated with their installation curve! those. They stupidly do not know how to put them normally. and the originals naturally come from the factory complete with levers, pressed as expected. therefore they serve normally. this is IMHO.
Because of this, I changed the rear levers to the original assembled ones and they still run and 4 years have passed. I asked the new owner everything is fine, only he replaced one signal block on the lever because it tore it in the cold
I don’t know for a year I dashed off 20 thousand on it, and there are simply no roads in our city some directions. Now I drive a Korean suspension is soft, so damn I remember Kaldina there is tough and you will punch the figs, but you do not go and look where you can’t jump into an extra hole
You probably haven't driven a car once in four years, they haven't died. Before that, I also put the original, they left me for 2 years and then the hinges died. We just have no roads in Russia!
I have all my family alive so far =) Amorth only changed and anthers. maybe not native, maybe it has already been done, but I hardly believe what the yapas would do when taking into account their roads, then in a year I wind 22,000 km like from a bush. The 4th year has already started.
All the rubber bands are on the levers, chewed out a long time ago. I pulled out the old silent, took a caliper and forward to the car market. As a result, the silencers from Mitsu Karizma (manufacturer Hansa) were perfectly fitted on the rear lever for the second year, the cost of one silencer was 150 r , pressed myself.
some have silent and some have hinges and therefore polyurethane was taken to make it tougher.
