How a dealer sets an alarm - Toyota Avensis, 2.0L, 2008
So a new car needs an alarm. With an open connection.
You have chosen, paid - bet. Installation $ 100 which means, probably, qualitatively. It was not there. The dealer puts the signaling as I would probably put it:
- to open the trunk from the signaling - it is impossible;
- winder for windows - not connected;
- auto-arming - "oh, we don't know how";
- and in general, go to Kiev and there they will do everything you want.
The question is "why?" Does the authorized dealer have no car wiring diagrams? Is the level of personnel somewhere in the area of vocational schools?
P.S. Even before picking up the car was ready for such a development. Therefore, I was not very upset :)
Price tag: 3 000 ₽ Mileage: 7 kmIn fact, the manufacturer does not recommend installing signaling at all, and for everything to work, can-modules are required, which significantly increase the cost of cheap signaling. Perhaps the salon has just opened and there is no emphasis on additional equipment. Now there are a lot of informal firms that provide high-quality signaling, better than official dealers, where everything is on stream.
You better read the warranty more closely, all manufacturers have different principles. For Mazda, let's say a more loyal guarantee and, moreover, it will be necessary first to prove that a malfunction has arisen because of this equipment (otherwise the dealer will violate the law on consumer rights.
We installed parking sensors. I'm on Avensis, familiar to the Corolla. I am at informal, familiar from an authorized dealer. I paid 3000r. for installation, familiar 7800r. (parking sensors are the same). After 3 months, my friend's parking sensors stopped working and at one point he, because of this (while he still thought everything was in order), kicked the rear bumper against the wall of the house. I came to the unofficial, to see what and how with the parking sensors, they opened the trunk lining, and there was horror. the parking sensor control unit is not screwed to anything and not even glued to double-sided tape. apparently kept only on wires. these same wires fell off over time and the parking sensors stopped working.
so there is still need to think 100 times about whether it is worth installing additional equipment from the officers ... I went to TO 10,000, the officials did not see the parking sensors installed, but they did not say anything. And they can't say anything. I have every right to install additional. equipment where I want =) and if something breaks down on the electrics, then first they have to prove that it broke down due to the fault of improperly installed additional equipment not from them.
