rear door shock absorber CALDINA - Toyota Caldina, 2.0L, 1999
somehow one day, unexpectedly, the back door stopped holding in the upper position ... and in general it stopped holding ... I had to prop it up with a plate ... but it was terribly inconvenient and kapets how embarrassing))
decided to fix it ...
took measurements. Required length 45cm.
with a dead amorta went to the shops for Zhiguli and others (Auto49). I found there I began to compare with the ones they had and it turns out from DVENASHKI it fits one to one ... I bought one (270re) ...
but the whole trick was that Toyota has special mounts and shock absorbers to mounts that are screwed to the body and the doors are stamped tightly.
It was decided to drill and tighten with nuts.
Freed the amorth from the attachment with a 9mm drill.
I twirled everything and went to try it on ... the mount on the body fell like a glove ...
... but at the door a new nut prevented the fastening from being fastened ... there was no place for it ...
without hesitation they took the grinder and removed the floor of the nut ... fastened it and ... abra-kadabra - hold the door again!))
* But there is no photo with a cut nut yet ...
VERDICT: For Kaldina, rear door shock absorbers from frets 2112 are suitable.
">
It's strange ... I skated for a year and a half without any problems. Then he sold the car and xs how it goes))
I tried the same thing a year ago ... they seemed weak to me, the pressure there is less, they don't hold me, put the old ones
UPD. if anyone is looking - these shock absorbers are NOT SUITABLE for Kaldino in 191 body!
they have a length of 45 cm, but they need 54.
