The subwoofer is burnt out. (the story of one subwoofer) - Toyota RAV4, 2.4L, 2009
It was like this, I came to the installation center, next to a store that sells car acoustics, chose a sub and an amp for it, came to put it on, set it for two hours, in the end everything was checked, and it seemed strange that he (the sub did not bomb much) guys motivated by the fact that it has not yet been rocked, well, I believed I went for a week, the sub is playing quietly, I came back, I say the guys are che for x ... they took it apart and looked. and the amp is rather weak, finally, as if it were for the weakest sub, called the guys from whom he was buying, looked at it, they put the same sub, only a new one, traveled for a month, eventually noticed one day the sound from the sub just disappeared as if it hadn't been there, went again there, the guys looked at it, they said the amp doesn’t cut the power, but there’s no sense from the amp and it doesn’t swing the sub,
Once again I am convinced that more expensive does not mean better - that's for sure :) I was personally convinced :)
How is it playing now?
It's hard to feel a good amplifier on a subwoofer because it gives out bass ... But on acoustics it is better to put VL at a higher price ... there filters play a role and power ...;) Best of all is a 4-channel helix or dls ... well, if there is more money then a focal point ...)) )
it even seems to me that right now I took a cheaper Mystery amp and a kind of feeling that it plays much better than with that expensive amp)))
