For a year and a half, I tried to find out what knocks on the right in front when driving this particular wheel through the pits. We watched as many as 4 different caliber services. Already after just recently shaking off the entire suspension, and the knock did not go anywhere, I decided with my colleague engineer to see where this disgusting knock came from. By simple kicking on the wheel, after 3 minutes, a diagnosis was made with a confidence of 90% - this is a strut cup or bearing in the same place. Today I'm going to change - let's see how it goes.
I knew, but after all, they were changed to me along with the racks, and the knock appeared literally 20 meters from the service, and everyone told me that everything was in order, but what was knocking was not clear! In general, everything was hurt - no knocks, the suspension is like new! ))
Damn, I have the same bullshit on my stamp. I changed the cup (without bearing), but the sound remained. Although the bearing is visually intact ... Have you decided to replace only the cup?
Nope, I changed the cup with the bearing. Just in case. I put a Japanese bearing. For over a year now, not a single suspicious knock has been heard from the front suspension. But six months ago, a similar one appeared from the rear left wheel, disappearing in the heat. Again we looked at a couple of services - they say everything is fine, we don't know what knocks. And they take money for such a diagnosis, blah.
