First Spring - Toyota Carina E, 1.8 L, 1997
Spring came. At the first opportunity I drove into the service to lift Karina on the lift and see what happened to the suspension over the winter, and indeed to take communion - before that, neither when buying, nor later did I look under the car. It turned out that the suspension is generally in good condition. The only remark is that the front stabilizer struts are "bones". They emit a characteristic tapping when moving. Obviously a replacement. What was stuck to me then on the service - I did not delve into it, and God bless him, they put something Korean. Otherwise, all chiki-bunches.
A little later, when the weather had already settled down, I changed the air filter and oil. The oil was poured, like the previous owner, Castrol 10W-40, except that in connection with the withdrawal of the old line of oils from production, it switched to Magnatec.
Well, when it got completely warmer. With a puppy's delight, I replaced the winter Hakkapeliita 1 with Bridgestone Turanza summer wheels on 15 â€alloy wheels. The cabin has become quieter, more comfortable on the go and, most importantly, livelier! Summer is ahead!
