Low Beam Problems - Toyota Chaser, 2.5L, 1993
I woke up in the morning, got out, started the car…
And the dipped beam does not work!
And the bulbs are intact, and the fuses, and the relay ...
But it still does not work ...
By parsing the steering column, it was revealed that one of the contacts through which the earth (minus) goes to the light bulbs had melted!
Having dig deeper into the manuals, after talking with the people, I found out that the minus from the steering column multi-selector goes straight to the light bulb right away. Those. this is not a control signal for the relay, but just a minus for the lights. So the current flows there is quite normal.
Apparently poor contact led to overheating and melting.
Let's figure it out further! In the meantime, I drive in foglights ...
Hello, the right headlight first year at the floor of the incandescence then stopped ... I thought the light bulb. Changed - nothing, looked at the relay on the left headlamp clicks and silence on the right ... put another relay silence ... Although there is voltage in the relay connector! Where to dig? I'm already tired of looking!
