No Support - Toyota Carina E, 1.8L, 1997

One evening, on the way to Chernogolovka, I notice that when braking the car slightly leads to the right. Immediately I do not betray this much importance: you never know the pressure in the tires is different. But upon arrival at the place I go out to smoke and at the same time look at the wheels and see: the right wheel is dry. On the street in December 2007 - slush and puddles, and the wheel is dry! I look at the left - it is wet. O_o? I'm back to the right. I touch the wheel rim and pull my hand: it’s probably not hot. The left one is slightly warm. The thought about the difference in pressure in the cylinders immediately disappears: "We have a wedge in the brakes." I take my wife and quietly, no matter what God, I get home. There I feel again - no changes.

The next morning we drive into the garage with a friend, throw off the wheel and see: the piston in the caliper is not wrung out at all! On the left wheel is better, but ay-ay-ay is close. As a result, we return the left caliper to the original one, the right one into the trunk, and quietly, like a pregnant cuttlefish, we go home. On the way, the radio starts playing something, the name of which cannot be read, on the display: "NO SUPPORT". How does she know?))

Then I still did not know about the existence of repair kits for brake calipers and therefore I am ordering a new one (although, probably, even if I knew, I would still order a caliper). Waiting for a week. Further - a matter of technology. We change the right one, decarbonize the left one to an almost new state. In order not to get up two times, we look at the condition of the disc-pads - it will be enough for the season, but we put a tick about an early replacement. We pump over the system and ... And that's all.
