Engine oil? - Toyota Celica, 2.0L, 1998
The question arose whether I was going to fill in oil for the summer correctly! All winter I left with Mobil 1 0W40 oil changed every 7-8t. km. The level did not go down a gram. In general, there were no problems! So I think to continue pouring it in the summer, or maybe pour another viscosity?! I will pour Mobil 1, do not go to the fortuneteller! A couple of thousand more and you need to change the oil!
Mobil 1 New Life is a great oil.
Personally, after 120,000 km I switched to Mobil 1 Peak Life - pleased with everything.
If I were you, I would still flood the summer, especially if you change it so often, then just enough for the season
In summer, the ambient temperature is high, so it will be a little thicker only in favor of the engine. Think so!
