14. The collector and his mother are so maslokuller :( - Toyota Sprinter Trueno, 1.6 liter, 1998
As I wrote above, a collector was bought a long time ago, which was wrapped and painted. When trying to install it, it turned out that it was necessary to take out the oil filter, since it rested against the right pipe. Well, this is not the point, it was decided to wrap the top of the collector on top of another layer of hard foil - firstly, so that water does not drip through the hole in the hood directly onto the tape, and since it is made of glass, so that when swarming with the machine it would be less and less peeled off, poured and ITHED, secured with clamps for anthers. And since the reception area is wrapped and there is no tape protection, I made a protective box from ordinary galvanizing for it. Now everything has risen as to itself - the current native laying of the connection with the path has been replaced by another smaller one.
Before that, a small oil leak was found along the block - it turned out that it was pressing from under the valve cover next to the exhaust shaft - everything was fixed with a new sealant.
Honestly, having already run in 5000, I decided to change the oil, with the engines flushed + I decided to introduce another oil trap filter (found a small size) into the tube - the throttle head. By the way, a photo of the analogue of Mann and the original oil filter.
Well, for this whole thing, I decided to install a maslokuller. He came to me with exorbitantly long pipes - which it was decided to sell, and to make himself shorter and in place. Having figured out a spacer with a filter, I decided to install it right there on the block, for which I made a stop-fastener with attachment to the block head, the tubes were made reinforced in our office, which deals with various hydromash, and I also took rubber gaskets from them for sealing. The result is quite compact. At the same time, I cut the oil temperature sensor to the pre-wired. With such a system, changing the oil is a pleasure.
But, but ... continued later
The pressure sensor from the device was screwed into the block instead of the drain and the drain into the spacer / and how the cooler will affect the viscosity - there is not a refrigerator there - but for the winter - with the next replacement it will be possible to remove it or simply loop the tubes
Much oil has run out - until it cools down - to drain from the filter pan
Conventional thermal paint / fire will not be - wrapped tube can be hand touch
It is convenient to change the oil, but at the same time, unscrewing the filter, you fill everything with oil. Or do you unscrew it together with the support and bend it? Have you painted the protective box of the receiving pipe and the winding with thermal paint? Aren't you afraid of the fire?
As for the winding, it is possible, but the oil will still not run out! Maybe it's better to tilt it 90 degrees and remake the fasteners?)
