Replacement of steering tips - Toyota Carina E, 1.8L, 1997
Apparently the hernia trips were not in vain. There are light tapping in the front suspension. An autopsy shows that the right steering tip does not agree with the condition of our roads, it is all loose, and in general. The left one is in its original state. Since I am still an Indian in the logistical part, at the first opportunity I buy only one new right-hand tip (original) and install it. Knowledgeable people say that after this procedure it is necessary to check the alignment camber. We check: everything is within normal limits. But the thought that, in general, the tips, struts, bones, and, in principle, the suspension elements change in pairs (I don't remember who thought it up, or did it myself) haunts, and after half a month of mental anguish I buy the left one (also the original ). After installation, I'm not going to check the camber - and it feels like the trailer is going smoothly,
All chiki-bunches.
Something like this.
I am guided by the rule - "we are not rich enough to buy cheap things." And various publications are only an aid in making a decision.
Clear. You just read what seems to be a good publication - they write one thing. You talk to the owners - it turns out a little different in practice.
