Original timing - Toyota Curren, 2.0 L, 1998
The reason for this was the gasket on the oil pump, through which the oil was seeping: (
well, I decided to change EVERYTHING if I change it :)
I ordered the original timing kit and these are rollers, oil seals, belt gaskets.
All this came in three weeks.
I changed it myself from a friend in the service, since there is a convenient lift pneumatic gun and a pulley puller :)
with parsing, cleaning and collection took about 5-6 hours.
Actually, it's not worth telling how everything is changing - and so the Internet floor is inundated with reviews ... and it was not up to the fotik at that moment ... because. beer was heating)))
Well, now I can proudly declare that the capacity will still pass 100t.km. !
By the way, even before this moment, I changed the gasket under the valve cover and the gasket under the crankcase ventilation valve. a trifle but nice)))
What an asshole before me apparently removed the lid and decided not to change the gasket, but just fill the old sealant with sealant ... as a result of which a little oil leaked into the 4 cylinder ...
when changing the timing belt, a friend also loaded up a * not oozing * oil pressure sensor, Student senks!
