Replacing stove indicators - Toyota Corolla Levin, 1.6 L, 1998

Replacing stove indicators - Toyota Corolla Levin 16 L 1998

We disassemble the panel of the stove and take out the board with buttons, there are some kind of flattened diodes there, I have not found such in stores. We buy LEDs small (3-4 mm) white (well, or to taste). Sit down with a soldering iron, preferably in a quiet place. the main thing there is not to be distracted and so that no one interferes :)))
We start to solder the native LEDs, the main thing is to be careful not to mess up! How to solder, check where + and - because the polarity of the diodes must be observed. We found out the polarity, we solder our LEDs. Most likely the antennae are an order of magnitude longer, no big deal ... they can be neatly trimmed even with scissors. Then it is better to return to the car and stick a chip in to check the brightness of the diodes ... keep in mind that there is a glass in the buttons and it does not significantly increase the light. Based on this, you need to put a light filter (I have it in the form of a paper tape glued to the top of the strip with diodes). As you have decided on the light filter, you can mount everything back and check :)
By the way, do not forget that the last button (heated windshield) is orange and it would be more expedient either not to change it, or also make it a different color. (I left the orange one because the speedometer is orange)
Good luck;)
