I decided to take up my own light, now I have a yellow and bad light,
I wanted white and good, xenon is outlawed now and the idea was
to buy "whitened" halogens of increased light output, which would be like xenon. I didn't really want to
stand in the store and choose bulbs for 30 bucks, relying only on the
manufacturer's promises "+ 70% cool white blue"
, it’s very likely to remain disappointed. I spent a
couple of days on the forums and realized that everything is not so simple. Maybe my experience
will be useful to someone ...
Immediately about the biggest misconceptions:
- You will never get xenon light from a halogen!
- The service life of the lamps described below is at least two times less than ordinary ones, and
for some it is limited to 150 hours, which the lamp
can not reach for dozens of reasons!
I'll start with my favorites, I've chosen from these three.
Philips Diamond Vision and Crystal Vision - the first are the whitest and of all the lamps
I read about, the second differ only in the bulb, give more light,
but at the same time turn a little yellow. They have UV protection for plastic headlights, the
light border is less clear than on Koito.
Koito White Beam III - Everyone praises, everyone is good, here the Yapas have tried. But
Diamоnd is whiter, although it loses in terms of light output.
Philips X-Treme Power - Shine brighter, but yellower Koito, generally one of the
most - the most, in terms of luminous flux.
Philips Power Night GT (150-130) - I have heard only positive reviews, in
comparison with others I have not seen it, it seems that it is not at all white.
Philips Blue Vision - Older model, light yellow.
Philips Vision Plus - Same song, old, yellow.
Narva White Power- Shines whiter than usual but not brighter, costs an order of magnitude
cheaper than competitors, but more expensive than usual, in short, not fish, not meat ...
Osram Cool Blue - They showed themselves well in the near light, in the distant not
very much, only Blue is whiter in yellowness Vision. There is also Cool Blue
Hyper, I haven't seen anything about them, if you know - write.
Osram Night Bracker - Declared (it is not clear by whom) as the brightest, while allowed by
GOST, whiteness and does not smell, shine dimmer than Koito and Cristal Vision,
very short-lived, only 150 hours.
Lighthouse White - They scold for quality, did not even look.
Bosch Silver - Not very bright, not very white, but they say they serve for a long time.
IPF - Cost more than Koito, often burn. I was personally frightened off by the price and reviews.
PIAA Super White - There are very few reviews, I found only one photo in
comparison with Philips Vision Plus - PIAA is whiter and brighter, compared to
Diamond ...
There is also Toshiba with the use of HIR technology, where the inside of the flasks, thanks to a
special dusting, increased efficiency, less heat, more light, they stand like a
set of Korean xenon, on the Internet there are only "pirated" photos of some
American, if you suddenly come across, please, please.
A little about the "dimensions".
At first I thought about diodes, Chinese rubbish, they burn once a month, really
firm CMDs with a built-in stabilizer, which will both serve and shine
- it's expensive (2p), and the "white" halogen next to the snow-white diode
starts to look really yellow! There are white dimensions Philips, with
some kind of lamps included. There are also the dimensions of Koito, who put
everyone happy, put it naturally with White Beam III, how they will
look with others is not clear ...
In general, here is an ambush!
PS It took me 2 days to collect this information, so I decided to throw it in the
BZ, maybe someone will be useful. I myself have not tested anything, all the
information from the forums, some comparisons by pictures, some according
to the regulars, some according to tests of dubious devices, so
all of the above is conditional, especially considering the different structure of the
headlights, different bases and the degree of turbidity!

I have had an osram night breaker for a long time (it seems to be spelled like that). They shine if not white, then a very similar color. EVERYTHING is visible with them! For me, at the moment, this is the best option. As a person with poor eyesight, I approach the issue of lighting carefully. ;)

It is clear that the light output is not directly proportional to electrical watts, but "almost".
Because optics - a lens, not a searchlight type, the illumination above the border is minimal and, provided the headlights are adjusted, it does not blind anyone.
Well, the price tag ... ~ 200 rubles per lamp, the same Cool Blue, if the memory does not lie, 600-800. And what is their color temperature, I honestly did not bother :-)
By the way, most of the listed lamps do not have the H3C version, only H3.
I am for Koito White Beam III, I am very pleased with the choice and have never regretted it.
