Few photos about the work started - Toyota Crown, 2.0 liter, 1988

Few photos about the work started - Toyota Crown 20 liter 1988

The deeper you drip in the car, the more and more troubles you find in it ... Sometimes many things shock the stupidity and growth of hands from the ass of previous owners ...

Let's start with the backside to the front.
1. There was a towbar on it (if, of course, it can be called a normal installation) ... The entire trapezoid, which should be tightly screwed to the frame, was simply welded with a couple of 2 mm metal strips, in other words, I jumped on the phacopa and he, along with the trapezoid, ended up on the floor ( hush up those strips ...) ...

2. taking the optics on the hike, the case was opened, because when I took it off and accidentally turned it over, about a liter of water that had accumulated during the rains poured out ...

3. Connecting the electric mains for the towbar ... Completely illiterate inserts into the headlight cable train ... I had to re-measure everything and look for what and where it came from ...

The case came to the salon

4. Everyone knows that the speakers in the rear shelf use the volume of the trunk for normal sound ... Some dunce laid 4 layers of wallpaper under the rear shelf (supposedly for sound insulation) (yes, yes, the same ones that are glued to the wall). cellophane with bubbles of dynamics (ie the diamic was 100% devoid of volume) ... Also 5 out of 6 speakers were deprived (do not believe) WIRES! those. they were just stupidly cut off ... (The question is imposed, why then were the speakers needed at all? to close the holes?
(Well, at least for the cellophane with bubbles, thanks =)))) Since childhood I love to burst them =)))))

5. the rear seat was apparently removed more than once, because the lower part is fastened with bolts, but they were absent ... Also behind the back of the rear seat, in addition to the native THICK noise / heat / sound insulation, there were 4 more layers ... yes, yes, those same wallpaper ...

6. the wiring throughout the car was simply cut off in some places ... For example, a side mirror on the passenger side (I don’t know why, because after connecting everything worked and there were no complaints ...)

7.the front windows opened with some kind of bang, went through everything, it worked as it should ... with the rear left one needs to be conjured (it opens normally, but closes only if you press the buttons on the back door and on the driver's block together ...)

8.the console was not screwed on at all, but the handle was tightly welded (fixed) ... ps grinder forever =)))))

9. Someone repeatedly broke the torpedo shields, they soldered it on the collective farm. it will be necessary to redo it normally ... The steering column is dangling (in one piece, not in the adjustment zone), you need to remove the torpedo and sort it out ...

10. also removing the main canopies from the torpedo (the button panel's button panel pockets found that someone broke the climate case and glued it to the skoch ... again, you need to work ... because the air ducts (dampers) change their position with some kind of creak and crunch ... works well and quietly ...

11. So far I have prepared 1 dinovy radio tape recorder, which travels to the 4th car in its life ... the good old disk Mystery ...

12. the doors are a little sagging, but all this is fixable ...

13. engine compartment: the right camshaft is slipped through 1 tooth of the timing belt ... (some collective farmer's mistake during installation, because the belt is fresh) ... Some moron welded the pump pulley to the shaft ... the photo below ... the engine is covered in oil, it is necessary to change the seals and gaskets ... the bearings of the tension rollers are noisy, I overwhelm ...

costs of some fixes:

Wires 100r (acoustics)
