Replacing the standard dashboard illumination with LED - Toyota Corolla, 1.3 L, 2000 with DRIVE2

Replacing the standard dashboard illumination with LED - Toyota Corolla 13 L 2000 with DRIVE2

I decided to refresh the tidy lighting! I think everyone will agree with me that it is more pleasant to ride when the backlight is such that it is pleasing to the eye! I love the bright blue! I went to the market and came across LED bulbs! I talked with the sellers, they said that such llamas not only shine better, but also last much longer! As a result, I get 4 blue light bulbs of 60r each (I don't seem to remember exactly) apiece.

The story with the replacement is already another story! It's not the first time I'm disassembling the panel, before that I was already shooting because the speedometer backlight on one side was burned out, so there is experience in how to remove the board! I just want to say that in order to change a couple of lamps you need to disassemble the "floor of the car" =) There is no photo of the result yet, but I will definitely do it, and see the progress below! 240

Why disassemble the panel like that? Isn't it possible to change the lamps just by removing the instrument panel? Or something else at the same time?

I see ... so I'm Japanese?: (((((((

You understand what the matter is! The Japanese have small hands and they can freely push their hands into the gap between the panel and the flap so that the speedometer cable can be unhooked and 4 connectors that are connected to the flap! And we have that hands, God forbid))))) In short, I can’t put my hands in there to connect / disconnect all these things, I had to unscrew the panel for the radio! Through the hole, it is free to turn on the connectors and the cable ...

uhhh… reassured)))
I climbed up without removing the radio.

Ahaha)) No, this is the only factor that cannot be used to judge nationality)

I agree that we have a steering wheel without adjusting the angle of inclination, so most of the time is spent pulling out the panel with glass.

the first time I also climbed up, but I suffered for a very long time, for 2 times I decided to remove the radio tape recorder too!

On the site with a photo of the light bulb there is a luminous waterproof cord, or whatever it is ... There will be time I will make the front exits backlight. But interestingly, you can take power from an open door light, so as not to go into the limit switches?

It is quite possible to take an open door from the lamp, I see no obstacles ...

Hi! I saw a photo where the backlighting on the pedals, I also made myself, but in a different way ... your light almost reaches the seat, but on the way it strains, reflects ... I glued the diode tape (now they sell such tapes, by the footage) from the bottom and along this tape I glued electrical tape, bending it in half (lengthwise), now it shines specifically only on the pedals and does not reflect ... the electrical tape obstructs the light into the salon ...
