Excellens Sonus. Elementarius. - Toyota Camry, 2.4L, 2006

it was lifted up ...
that's how they made some kind of installation a few years ago, literally from the first day, that's something I didn't like, something constantly mutilated ...

and with the advent of a kind of work, which gets to such an extent that you just want to do something like that so that you don't injure anyone in the process ...

total ... after consulting with a friend Getfox, without planning where to start, took and began to disassemble everything from the music in the car.

I'm not a long-time fan of car audio, but ... I love what it would play like ... and not just hum ...

fortunately, no photos of the previous installation have survived ... well, thank God, some of the solutions of the installers' guys surprised me very much how people who seem to have a good reputation and can do that ... it's just a shock ... what is it worth only that all the wiring is stupid on twists, only 1 I found twisted soldering ... on the mid. and even then ... and a tweeter glued with super glue to something there? fine?

Well, at least the spacers under the front in the doors were done more or less normally… against the background of everything else… savings of course savings… but hack… it's a little different.

in short, I started from the trunk, unloaded everything that was there and forward ...

initially there was an idea for 2 woofers in stealth fenders, and amplifiers on the rear wall of the trunk.
even started doing ... but something suddenly pereklinit.

changed his mind, decided on the knurled orientation of the subwoofer into the car through the ski hatch.

on the next free day, and he comes to me once a week, fell through, asked my father-in-law to help with the transportation, and bought a
sheet of 20 mm plywood
sheet of 10 mm plywood
all sorts of nails, glue, and all other construction crap.

and forward and with a song ...

I apologize for the lack of quality photos.

so that's what was actually done ...

Naturally, the first thing we did was to make modest measurements, what and how, cut a hole in the front panel for the speaker, and measured how it should be ... since the side walls are trapeziums, it was not so easy to measure and set everything up.

Naturally, all this is a rather long process, which is only worth the fact that I several times went to the construction shop for new jigsaw saws, as they simply rubbed off on this plywood ... a thick pancake got caught ... in
total it will fold the shape.

further, this whole structure was fastened, more than 50 self-tapping screws around the perimeter.

after which all internal seams are smeared with sealant

and then finishing sanding and filling followed.

in total, nothing turned out like a case, with a volume of 35 liters for a 13-inch speaker, weight over 10 kilograms

since I swung at a type of serious approach to the problem, it was decided that the woofer would be bolted on
after a while, such furniture accessories were purchased.

holes were made where such nuts with ready-made threads were successfully placed

in total, the speaker will now live here tightly screwed :)

Thank you :)
35 liters, in the woofer's passport it is indicated that with such a volume the bass will be no less deep, but relatively fast, the volume is quite large, so it can always be turned down.

and the finish? there will hardly be any finishing on the box, since it will be hidden, there will still be a false panel ... which I have not yet decided what to cover ...

Good job. Why is the volume 35 liters? What will be the finishing? Carpet?

What speaker?

where you need to start, in any case there is a drawing of the box, I think that you will not have to increase the volume, BUT if you have to, then you just have to redo the box, which will not pose any problems, and reducing the volume is generally easier than ever. so I'll play with it.

good fellow, that he took it) The box looks good, the only "but" is the manufacturer always gives approximate parameters for the displacement, the speaker changes its characteristics during operation, and any box is considered based on the parameters of the salon in which it will play. I doubt that you bother with all this)
Anyway, a cool, strong box came out!
