Epic with air conditioning :) - Toyota Cynos, 1.5 L, 1991

2 weeks ago I was finally tired of riding and sweating like a horse. I decided on the second attempt to resuscitate the air conditioner (the air conditioner in the car did not work since the purchase, the first resuscitation attempt a year ago was unsuccessful). I came to the freezer guys and said that there was a hole somewhere that should be repaired. We tried to pressurize the system, to our surprise they found that the system seems to be holding pressure. I decided to take a chance and refueled ... To my even greater surprise, the compressor started working immediately, and began to freeze quite cheerfully. I gave the money for a gas station, and went home happy ... all the way enjoying the coolness :))) But the joy did not last long - the next morning the compressor did not turn on, some oily stains appeared under the radiator ... in general, after removing the radiator, a hole was found, which was rumbled by the plastic casing of a crooked fan ... this is how plastic defeated metal. The radiator was welded on, the fan was set, the air conditioner was refilled. On the second day of bliss, oil was found at the junction of the pipe and radiator. Obviously, after removing the radiator, the gasket came to an end. Again a visit to the freezers, again contamination of the atmosphere with a good dose of freon (sorry gentlemen, ecologists) :) After replacing the gasket and the third refueling, the air conditioner has been working for the third week already :) how much it will last, frankly I don’t know, I hope that for a long time.
