Electrical, instrumentation, LSD — logbook Toyota Verossa 2002

In this journal I will describe the work on electronics and the installation of LSD.

In addition to standard systems, I installed and modified:

I'll start in order:

1. To create a single lighting style in the car, I decided to try stretching a neon thread along the entire car, as you remember, there is just a separation between the panels along the entire car, including the doors.
On eBay I bought 5 sets of StreetGlow, each 3 meters long red, with ignition blocks included. Native glue was replaced with transparent silicone. The result is very pleased, it looks SUPER! Until I glued it on the door, I'm waiting for the complete installation of auto sound equipment.

2. The HKS EVC4 boost controller was bought on eBay with a separate trigger key. Work has been done to change the LEDs from green to red to create the overall styling of the Verossa. A podium is made under the trigger key for ease of operation.

3. Defi BF Boost turbine pressure sensor and control unit purchased from InJapan. Taken, though expensive, but a complete set in boxes.

4. Defi's white color control unit was discordant with Verossa's red illumination. Just replaced all the diodes with red ones.

5. The radar detector migrated from the TourerV JZX90, which has proven to be a very useful and reliable device, without which the life of a car in our conditions is inconceivable. It has justified itself many times and for a long time.

6. Tuner Absolute Vega TVR-Toyota 1999/2000 was purchased after agreement with the manufacturer from an official representative in Almaty. Installed in 5 minutes instead of stock. All channels tuned in immediately and show at a very decent level. This device also has inputs for two cameras (overrunning and reverse), as well as a DVD input.

7. For the convenience of parking, I chose one of the best Kenwood CCD-2000 cameras, which was embedded in a die above the number. It was connected to the Vega tuner and turns on when the automatic transmission selector is put into reverse mode.

It was installed at the service without any problems in a couple of hours and I am still happy, since the feeling of car handling has changed for the better, sometimes you can ride sideways.

9. The on-board computer replaced the standard clock, the connection turned out to be not so difficult, but the calibration is a rather dreary and long process. The thing is quite interesting, in Russian and red, all in the same Verossa style. The calendar function and auto acceleration dynamics are nice.

10. Quite easy to install cruise control. Bought only the handle itself and 4 pin frog in the brake pedal. Everything is working.
