You may have noticed that the prices for "running" cars, including Japanese ones, also grew up after a wonderful increase in duties :-) And even Fielder S 4wd, who had seen Russian roads, remained beyond the reach of my finances. But after looking at how other comrades confidently move around in Japanese women of the first half of the 90s and don’t blow their mustaches, I remembered that there is a wonderful Toyota Corolla Sprinter Carib in the 95th body. And the Subaru Legacy Lancaster 6 '00 is a lot, even cheaper than the Fielder, damn it, but the vehicle tax would cost us almost 10,000 rubles. a year, plus a loan would have to take, plus talk about expensive Subaru parts. And others who did not suit the price or quality. And so…

One fine slushy day in early April, I read, among others, an inconspicuous announcement of the sale of Toyota Corolla Wagon 4wd. Phoned the seller, finding out some questions that interested me then, an amateur, made an appointment. The owner came with his wife. They moderately praised the car, but not assertively. I was glad that they actually owned it for three years (not resold), they used it carefully. Of course, it was not without flaws, and small "kotska" and the front bumper are slightly out of place, but all these are trifles. I was surprised by the toroidal gas cylinder instead of the spare wheel - I heard about such, but never saw them in my eyes :-) After the pre-sale inspection ceremony at the car service, a slight price discount, half a day at the traffic police (although quite quickly) this car became mine .

That's how I did not change my ideals and ideas about the quality of Toyota!
