Arriving for my car, there were no external changes, except for a layer of dust on it, we opened the hood, and there the 4A-GE took root very nicely. The only negative is that there is no exhaust system at all, since it cannot be reduced to the native one, a small section.
In the trunk were new pants for 63 exhaust.
I started the car and, apart from the hum of the exhaust system, nothing was heard; on the way home, I did not feel anything good in this engine, except for the confident operation of the engine, because. turned the engine up to 3.5 - 4 tons. and get used to the new clutch. Feelings were not very good, I didn’t want to ride around the city with such a roar and put it in the parking lot.
The next day, my friend and I came to the parking lot to see the engine and decided to ride on it. I turned on the emergency gang so that people would think that the car was broken, and I didn’t put such a muffler on myself. Arriving at the next traffic light, I calmly sat and thought that the engine was not very good, but then a VAZ 2112 rolled up (I don’t know how to put it right, in short, a two-coupe coupe), and began to gas up, and then I decided to check the engine power:
green lights up - I smoothly release the clutch (it's still new, let it get used), we drive on a level,
I look at the tachometer 3t.ob.
4t.ob.- I was halfway ahead of the hull and wanted to switch to the second one, but then I got blue and I remembered the master’s words that the Silver engine and Black’s brains, cut-off at 8200 rpm. . And I pressed the pedal all the way.

from 5 to 8t.ob.- two of us are far in the mirror. And at that moment I realized all the delights of this engine. I felt how this engine paired with all-wheel drive does its job and presses into the seat (no exaggeration).
On the way back to the parking lot, I got used to the revving of the engine a little, and was convinced of the correctness of the decision to replace the engine.
Now the machine is in the parking lot and waiting for the next week, but for now, riding on the Teana and Subarike, I stopped feeling their power … although earlier the Toyota was very, very weak compared to the Teana. but that was before :-)
I bought myself a quiet muffler and a resonator, now I'm waiting for the next week to make an exhaust system!
I don’t know when I’ll do the exhaust, we’ll see ... right now, the lambda is not connected there yet!

I didn’t do it, but a person who has been doing this kind of swap for ten years already! I think for him it was the easiest task, after installing the last body Selick 3s-gte or Honda snx 3s-ge, etc!
