Passage of the TRP.
I'll tell you about the peculiarity of the passage of the TRP in Novosibirsk (and probably the same in the rest of Russia.)
When I bought the car, in July 2008, I decided to go through the TRP in accordance with all the rules. Pre-altered headlights on evrosvet. So this is how I go through the inspection, get the inspection card in my hands and see that the car does not correspond to CO and CH (three times), judging by the numbers. And I am offered to come later from any working hours after the troubleshooting. But since I have been working with cars for more than a year and quite often I see people who also cannot pass the technical inspection the first time even on a new car, I naturally am not going to regulate anything or the like. (catalyst and sensors work well) I go the next day for a re-inspection and “Oh, miracle!” my CO and CH miraculously improved several times and fit into the current standards with a decent margin. The TRP coupon was then given to me for 2 years because the car was 6 years old.
2 years pass and a week ago I went through the TRP again. Decided to go somewhere else. And ... everything that I wrote above was repeated))) The first time I didn’t pass because of CO, CH, and when I repeated everything was great.
So. Not only do you come to the TRP and stand there in queues for no reason ... And all because of the fact that it is more convenient for someone to work. There is a decent queue to the inspector - they hand over the documents, then they send them from the cashier. And the box office window is closed and no one accepts payments. And only after the cashier has accumulated a stack of documents, she begins to accept payment. Then they are sent to wait in the car before being called to the MOT line. Then most of the cars are inspected and sent to wait at the inspector's window, and there again everyone stands for about an hour when the results and TRP coupons are printed for everyone there and after that they start issuing them. As a result, you spend 3 hours there and leave with a map that shows a malfunction that cannot be challenged on the spot ... it's pointless.
They do this in order to create the appearance of work ... “It seems like we are working, we find defects ...” But they naturally do not find defects on machines that pass through the “black cash desk”. And because of these, honest citizens suffer, losing their personal time, and some also money, stopping by the service station to eliminate these “virtual” defects.
And another joke. You enter the inspection line from the side of the street, and you drive out onto the territory of the car park and, of course, exit through the checkpoint and a hefty billboard “Travel through the territory of the bus park -10 rubles” ... (no comment)

Naturally, they should be subordinate (under supervision) to other state. instances. So that you can calmly, without unnecessary problems, write a claim and they will respond to it, and not just send you to court for many months because of 500re (for example, the cost of WHAT).

At the moment, they can only be checked and pointed out to violations, it is possible to write out a very small fine of 1000re, which they will pay and forget.
