The Land Cruiser is solid. — Toyota Land Cruiser, 4.7 liter, 2001
Solid and empty
“Solid - something that you can rely on, you will not fail. These are words or figures that can be trusted. A person you can rely on will not let you down. A car that is fully serviceable and filled with gasoline: at the right time, it will start and go. Solid is what is solid. Empty - something that you can not rely on - you will fail. Information that may be false or incomplete or inaccurate. A soldier who gets scared and runs away. A friend who promises and doesn't deliver. A factory that spoils materials without producing anything usable. The empty is the empty. It is necessary to distinguish solid from empty. This is the most important of all the arts. The combination of solid and empty gives empty. What else can she give? Many human deeds are produced in vain, because they contain something empty.
The grandfather gave the little boy to strangers to learn the craft. But they did not do this and still treated him very badly. When the boy became completely unbearable, he wrote a letter to his grandfather. He described his troubles in detail and convincingly, but the address on the envelope he wrote was very vague: To the village of grandfather. A letter with such an address will not reach, in vain the boy will wait for his grandfather. The content of the letter is solid. But the address is empty. The result is empty.
We are in this boy's position more often than our vanity can believe. After all, if among twenty solid elements - actions - at least one turned out to be empty - all efforts were in vain.

Thank you. Very nice. :)
Special thanks to Vladimir Tarasov, the head of the Tallinn Business School, the author of the text and the person who taught me a lot.
So restrained, even, a little romantic about very important things in life. It turned out great! And it doesn't matter if it's about people or cars, about events or actions. About the important, this is the main thing. . .
Tallinn Business School, so... And I remembered this show... what's it like... "Weak Link" :)
