Small repair (front seats) - Toyota Avensis, 1.6 liter, 1997

As I wrote earlier, the seat heating has not worked since the purchase. But until now, I didn't know how to fix it.
And then I noticed that the fasteners of the front seats, the extreme ones to the doors, began to rust. (most likely due to moisture introduced from the street) And a lever for opening the gas tank hatch (I have it on the floor) I took off
the seats (fortunately, only 4 bolts + seat belt). I cleaned the rust with sandpaper and painted over with quick-drying paint. It's all no problem.
Then I decided to restore the heating along the way. There were no difficulties with disassembly: I twisted 4 bolts of the mounting slide, removed the hooks for velor and that's it.
I bought in advance seat heating mats (the simplest ones, powered by a cigarette lighter). I cut off the covers from them and installed them in the chairs. I soldered the wires with factory connectors and the heating worked.
Difficulties arose only when screwing the driver's seat in the cabin. Since it has a height adjustment, the slide and mounts are movable. It took a little fiddling to get everything set up the way it was. And so 4 hours, 300 rubles. and in winter I have regular heating. By the way, the backs turned out to be working, just the wires fell off.

The car was sold a couple of months ago. It held up well, no rust, no chips. You need to clean it better and degrease it first.
