Bespectacled))) — Toyota Corolla, 1.6 liter, 2007
My beloved gave me this idea, knowing my "illness" in this direction of tuning.
I have never seen anything like this on Corollas or on any other typewriter!))))
I attached the “glasses†securely, I think Karcher is not a problem, besides, they are isolated in a waterproof case.
Well, actually look and evaluate the result!
I apologize in advance for the quality of the photos, taken with my phone.
pic with fog lights on
close-up photo with fog lights on
All the photos below were taken at 11 pm:
the rings and dimensions are included, the
phone blurred the photo so that the rings themselves are not visible, but one general light ((, in real life, of course, it’s different
this photo also turned out with smeared rings (((
close-up
ps So far, the "glasses" are parallel to the dimensions, I ask for help in finding a circuit in which they would turn off when the foglights are turned on.
p.s By the way! I saw Philips Silver Vision lamps in the city
in a store next to Schumacher. But their price, sorry, for 2 bulbs in the turn signal to pay 700 rubles, although they are pontoon, I have not decided yet)))
Here is an example of how they change the look of the turn signals
www.lighting.philips.com/…n_en_car_lighting&lang=en
psss It is also possible to install orange rings and make turn signals out of them - infa for thought)))
Issue price: 450 ₽ok ... let's get started))))) five)
looks interesting in the sense, I don’t delve into the craft yet, with that later) right now, digging money)
It will not work to glue it into the fog along the edge, I myself bothered how to do this. Tried to paste. Due to the bevel of the foglights, the ends of the diode line do not converge, I puzzled for a long time how to put the ring there, did not come up with anything, as a result I painted the foglights black to match the headlights and calmed down on this. And you suggested an interesting solution. Thank you. I’ll try to do the same and I’ll have not only headlights with angel eyes, but also foglights.
Everything is easier than ever! ))
How I did it so far: I bought an LED ruler in transparent insulation, measured it, cut it off and stuck it on 2-sided tape on two planes and that's it! the wiring is carried out so that it is not visible and is paralleled to the dimensions, i.e. "points" are included along with the dimensions.
how to do it better if possible: mount it using the same method, just disassemble the PTF and stick the LED ring to the very edge. The nuance is that not all PTFs can be disassembled. But I did not delve into mine! I don't think there is any reason to doubt the tightness.
ps in principle, I liked it myself, it looks cultural and not collective farm!
hello =) Cool little thing, looks very nice! In the fogs, the light can be turned off =)
If the fogs are turned on and the rings are shining, then it doesn’t turn out very well, because fogs are not xenon.
Well, yes, without fogs in any way)) Although there are many options without fogs, just conjure over inserts instead of regular fogs))) Look in my BZ for earlier entries and you will find interesting options))
Yes, there is half an hour of work, but it is better to isolate the tape additionally so that moisture does not get in!
Fine! when I put fogs on myself, I thought about this idea, but for some reason I postponed it until better times, because over time it was problematic :)
I bought a waterproof LED strip, stuck it on the plastic lining in the bumper under the PTF and led the wires in the gap between the PTF and the plastic lining into the engine compartment itself))
But I will upset you a little, all the same, due to poor insulation, the LEDs on the ribbons began to burn out (((
sir please explain in more detail. an honest word from the bottom of my heart ... Pts liked the LEDs on the PTF, but I still didn’t understand about 2 planes =) that is, you didn’t go inside (didn’t disassemble the PTF), namely, they stuck it on the outside with 2-sided tape and that they really don’t jump off the spot with a car-share? and if from the outside, how was the wiring pulled through the plastic PTF insert or something else?
