Brakes 4 pistons — Toyota Chaser, 2.5 liter, 1997
Well, finally, almost new 4-piston brakes from Celsior finally got to my typewriter) Practically new in this context reads like unused in Russia)) By the
forces of my friend Eneskay and largely thanks to his efforts, these brake machines were prikolhozheny for some 4-5 hours with numerous smoke breaks.
In fact, the main difficulty arose in the absence of the necessary tool, namely a round file, the so-called. rasp, with the desired texture. The file that was available was with a very fine sandpaper, but I needed one that would tyrannize once - and a millimeter of metal was gone. Well, nothing, I had to tinker a little longer.
Ball spacers made by Al-exefor which many thanks to him) On the plus side, the ground clearance on the face has decreased by the amount of spacers, i.e. dropped in front a little.
Painted in silver, as Eneskay said, collective farm color. I like this. When they put the wheels on, he also kind of said that he kind of likes it, but I'm sure he's lying))
The first tests were carried out yesterday on the track, but I didn’t slow down much to the floor, I just rolled it from 100-120 kilometers. First impressions are purely positive. Slightly increased braking efficiency and a significantly increased temperature margin, because stock brakes are no good in this regard, they overheat after 2-3 braking from 180 km/h.
I will test further.
In the second photo, I tried to compare the stock disk and the disk from the Celsor by overlaying it, but it turned out badly)), because the Celsior one is only a little larger.
yes, she turned a chicken without turning on the turn signal in front of me, crossing my path when I walked about 100-120 ... 50-70 meters remained ... in general, I pedal to the floor ... everything worked out but I was shaking ...
somehow you called them. brakes ... don’t do it like that ... these are real brakes :) I wish that there will be no situations when they would come in handy to the full ... like me on Friday ...
