TO2 and replacement under warranty - Toyota RAV4, 2.0 liter, 2008
Last Tuesday I handed over the machine for those. service (20tysch mileage after all :)) When handed over, asked to see the front left pillar, even in the winter there was a feeling that something was wrong with her. And I was right, the shock absorber was replaced under warranty. They also did a camber and a comprehensive wash at the same time, and they also changed the brake pads, 2mm left from the front ones, the rear ones seem to be going through until the next MOT. I took the car from the factory, everything is perfect, no noise. By the way, I ordered the front bumper protection (in my case, when driving through a large puddle, the lower plastic protective plate was washed away), they will take a month :) I’ll come back from vacation and install it.
Speaking of the car, it turned out that my Rav4 falls under the batch that was recalled due to the sinking gas pedal. Fortunately, in a year and a half, I didn’t have anything sunk, but under the guarantee they still replaced this so-called accelerator of the gas pedal for me, or rather, they didn’t replace it, but strengthened it.
Issue price: 13 300 ₽ Mileage: 20.002 kmI'm assuming the same, but in the back. Even speed bumps quietly move, and beat on bumps ...
I did TO2 in March - everything was fine. I won't wait until the next one. When I get back from vacation, I'll go and find out...
In winter, it was clearly audible, when driving through bumps, how the front left pillar was knocking ... you see when it was very cold, it split, or whatever (it’s in the box, you need to get it, look at least how it looks) ... Well, after winter, on bumps, the right pillar is silent , and the left one is knocking ... And there was no reason and time to call in the service, but they just replaced it with MOT)
Most likely you are in the same situation.
