Recording, July 30, 2010 — Toyota Starlet, 1.3 liter, 1998
I went on a business trip to Tobolsk yesterday. Tried out a new motor.
In principle, it is very good, the first 100 kilometers of the road even pleased the flow. I thought I would brag about the fact that for 40 minutes of travel at a speed of 140, slowing down a little in settlements (thanks to the antaradar and oncoming drivers), the tank arrow did not even move! Shhhhhhhhh!
How evilly I got hooked with the Mondeo in a new body, I don’t know with which engine I kept it for 15 minutes with the speedometer completely wrapped (thanks to the Japanese comrades for the once removed limiter).
Watching in horror as the tank needle passed during this time, it passed the third part of the path from "1" to "0", I decided to slow down the speed.
There were other funny stories as well. The three of us with the northerners rode in a convoy, ran into the traffic police crew (they held 90, apparently they just decided to redeploy). We drive, do not violate, calmly smoke, while the speed is low. After 3 minutes, the Lancer 9 can not stand it and breaks down to overtake, followed by a Skoda (apparently friends). They overtake me, the crew, and they go ahead like that. Ford DPS-nicks accelerates behind them, I laugh and go to overclock behind the Ford. The speed is 140, 150, the anti-radar is torn, but I just don’t hear it through laughter, but I hear the howl of sirens and a scream into the loudspeaker.
Guys! Well, couldn't you bear it? Well, they would have stopped near the nearest cafe, and they would have gone on calmly!
The result of the trip:
Mileage 560 km
48 liters of gasoline used up.
A lot of positive emotions received!
