Long wanted to visit Switzerland, his imagination painted beautiful mountains and cow milk. There was as much as 4 days off in a row, decided to go and see. Good friend who now lives and studies in Zurich, was invited to stay with her.

I drove from Prague to Zurich by bus is the cheapest and relatively fast option. The train ride more and longer, the plane is faster and much more expensive. And for just 70 euros and 10 hours to get to the right city. In General, for a student trip to Switzerland causes persistent bouts of wrestling with a toad. We decided to spend the minimum on food, but to see more interesting places. And I can say that I do not regret this choice.

Arriving in Zurich on the morning of Thursday, almost immediately went for a walk. The city is quite compact, especially the historical part. Immediately liked the tranquility, lack of crowds of Japanese with cameras and a good atmosphere.

Decided to start from the top of mount Uetliberg near the city. A stunning view of the entire city, lake Zurich and the snow-capped mountains in the distance. Unfortunately, the mountains were wreathed with mist, and the distance to them is decent, so the photos turned out not very

To the mountain we took a train, which is integrated into the urban transport system. Down was it the same, but we decided to walk. Nothing special on the road is not met, but the forest was in some places very good

The following day was memorable for changeable weather and a visit to the ETH campuses. ETH — the ETH Zurich. In the rankings he is on the 3rd place among technical universities(second only to mit and Princeton) and in 12th place among all universities in General. My classmate was able to do, though the competition was very serious, she is learning German. And the range of subjects can not be explained: from chemistry and biology to calculus and programming.

The University consists of two campuses, one situated in the city center is historical, the other modern set of buildings on the outskirts. Between go buses ETH Link, which do not have stops along the way.

I'd love to take a master's degree in ETH, since they have a wonderful program in robotics and computer science. Let's see how it will develop in the future, to learn to do this today:)
