Toning is easy! — Toyota Carina E, 1.8 liter, 1997
I think everyone at least once faced with the need to peel off the tint for various reasons ... It’s not a problem to tear off the film itself, but to remove the glue is megahemorrhoids ... Nail
polish remover, white spirit, all sorts of glass washer and other chemistry - no current is used ...
In short, here's the simplest, most affordable and personally tested recipe for you:
1- A bottle with a spray like for flowers
2- Regular liquid soap diluted with water in a ratio of 1 to 20 approximately.
3- Blade for a safety razor, or a scraper like for electric stoves. In general, any suitable garbage for removing glue.
4- Rag to cover the plastic, if the glass is cleaned directly in the car.
I think the process itself is understandable - we wet the glass abundantly with a solution and scrape off the glue, which softens rather quickly. The bottom line is that the soap solution deactivates the adhesive coating, which is what tinters use when applying the film. It is better to wipe the scraper more often so as not to smear the glue on the glass.
The best thing about soap solution is that the glue doesn't turn into extremely sticky snot, which happens when using all sorts of solvents and other chemicals. Well, it doesn’t stink either :)
It took me 10 minutes slowly for each glass :)
I don’t claim authorship, I just share usefulness, so if anyone can help, I’ll be glad :)
I similarly tinted the windshield) Previously, it often hung with familiar tinters)
thx for advice! 09/23/10 is coming soon - the Day of World Shading, it will come in handy for many.
Not with a rag, but thin toned plastic, cut to fit the glass, is inserted into the openings.
Nichrome is not clear on the video what it is and how it works.
with a rag that hangs from the inside of the window?
Thanks for the advice! My friend spent the whole day yesterday tearing off the tint from the front windows of his car ... it was a pity to look ... all the windows were stained with glue. Be sure to tell him how to do it, now I'm special )) Thank you again ))
