Intake cleaning — logbook Toyota Mark II 2000
Hello everybody. I add a short story about cleaning the "inlet". When I studied the issue of the correct operation of the 1JZ-FSE D-4 engine (then this machine did not exist yet), I concluded that it would be necessary to clean it in any way, well, here are the results of this activity. The work was carried out for 2 days (combined with decarbonization) was done by a very good specialist for which he is very grateful (and bow to the ground), I have seen more than once how and what happens inside the Mitzu intake on their GDI, but I don’t have such dirt at all I expected, I will give not a lot of photos "before" and "after" the work carried out. This work was done back in May, everything that the hands did not reach to write.
Has the feeling of picking up speed changed?
here I read from one Muscovite that they do high-pressure fuel pumps on a mitza, wait, is it interesting to do it on d4? As far as I know, we need to get a new one.
Feelings, oddly enough, have not changed, in this sense, I think that Toyota has reliability above all else, and therefore even on such a motor it works fine. This of course does not mean that it was necessary to leave everything as it is, anyway it would lead to some kind of breakdown, it’s just that, as I understand it, it was not yet critical for me.
work is good.
I think it will have a good effect on throttle response and, most importantly, on economy!
Has fuel consumption gone down? Did you feel anything at all? It’s good when there is a specialist to whom you can turn, you don’t want to go deep yourself at all ...
You know, it feels like nothing has changed (as well as consumption), but as I wrote above, this operation must be done anyway, the consequences may not be good.
