In our city, the official stage of drag racing has finally passed, with a cut-off as it should be!
I decided to apply for participation in order to measure the car at the cutoff, the best net time was in qualifying - 15.922. speed at the finish line is 140 km/h.
Machine absolute stock except release. Ran on 92 petrol. It was hot, about +30 ... The track is not perfectly flat, at first it goes a little downhill, then from the middle of the distance it goes uphill again. I rode on 18 wheels, 275 / 35R18 in the back, start from 2 legs, about 2200 rpm. The car practically did not facilitate, only pulled out a banana and a subwoofer, did not touch the interior. The car is glued all but the floor and ceiling.
According to our regulations, I rode in the 2nd class, in the first class all the Levins and Corollas 4a-ge, mechanics, my time turned out to be quite at the level of these cars. Previously, of course, I used to visit illegal immigrants with similar ones - either I’ll go to the corps, then I’ll lose the corps, apparently depending on the liveliness of the instance smile.gif
I didn’t count on anything at all, I thought I wouldn’t even pass the qualification, but I even got to 4th place :) I was just lucky - in the first race my opponent gave two false starts in a row and he was disqualified ... it happens :)
in general, the starting point has been set, I will think, decide how to live on ...
but this is the simplest thing you can do, you don’t need a lot of mind, and you can easily get a second on the quarter!
I think that a lot of things need to be finalized,
nitrous will always have time to deliver
