Illumination in the door - Toyota Aristo, 3.0 liter, 1996

    Toyota Aristo 30 1996

To be honest, I originally wanted to make a light backlight. To slightly illuminate the thresholds. But I overdid it with LEDs. I inserted 6 super bright diodes into each door.

The process was as follows: First, I took off all the shades. Brought home, dismantled, horrified, washed.

A friend gave me an LED strip the day before. This is the one that is cut off by 3 diodes, already with ready-made saprotes. I glued 2 strips (3 + 3 = 6 diodes) of blue color into one ceiling. Inside the ceiling, I pre-installed a litter made of ... I don’t know what it’s called, well, something like soft foam, now they put more steel in shock boxes than ordinary foam.

When I collected, I accidentally shorted something, already on the last ceiling. the light in the car stopped working and the clock was buggy ... vooot. The issue was resolved by replacing the fuse =))) Now I will always remove it beforehand!

Everything about everything took about 3-4 hours of work. When I saw the result, on the contrary, I liked that it turned out bright!

So when did you do it, where did you get the snow? )
It seems to me that the color would be better as in the salon

Thank you. Did it last winter. This is my previous machine) Color took blue, because. everything is blue everywhere — dimensions, climate control, radio. I thought about making a blue backlight in the cabin, but changed my mind, figs then what you will find in the evening ...

Yes, it lights up without a key, just when the door is opened. There used to be small light bulbs, like in size.

Were there lights in the doors? just wondering how all this is summed up ... does it light up even when the key is not in the ignition?)

oh, well, then everything is clear ... it turns out that diodes are just directly stuck instead of light bulbs? what kind of diodes do you need? or are they all the same?)) I just don’t really rummage, but I liked the idea)
