Replacing rear brake pads! — Toyota RAV4, 2.0 liter, 2003

Yesterday, when braking, a creak appeared, and I realized that it was time to change the pads! After examining the pads came to the conclusion that it is necessary to change the rear! I went to the garage and threw off the wheel and this is what I saw:

The pads left 2 mm, while waiting for my brother to bring me new pads, I decided that the calipers and discs can be painted and began to prepare for painting! Sanded, cleaned with a wire brush, then degreased with oaytsperit and painted!

By this time, my brother brought me new pads well and quickly installed them!

Remember when drifting on the Soviet? So then I had 3mm on the rear, 4mm on the front :) these are the things! Why did you buy pads? On my raf 5000r are only the rear. And 6000r front

Did you shop at a regular store? I just buy consumables from dealers and I put them in so that they don’t remove the warranty. And then last time he installed xenon himself, and they wanted to cancel the guarantee for the electrics, because they supposedly didn’t install it from them, and since the law came out banning it and they also stopped installing it, it’s good that the head of the guarantee turned out to be my father’s friend. . But I'll come Xen stick in dopa and dealers go to hell
