Well gentlemen! Report from unscheduled maintenance to OD! (Problems described in a previous entry in the logbook)
1) Backlash in the steering: It turns out that the steering column was broken. She went in for a replacement. Replaced and adjusted the collapse of the convergence. If it was not a warranty case, it would have cost me 90,000 rubles.
2) The car was pulling to the right: The car was pulling out of the blue to the right side due to a broken column. The replacement solved the problem.
3) Brake performance: Everything turned out to be in order. Just a heavy and inert car!
4) Loose seats: It turned out that on the new cruiser the seats dangle even more. They didn't do anything with mine. I have this conviction: Everything that unfolds - everything gets loose. It's really a shame that on such a machine it happens so soon.
Here is the entire report. As a result, for a run of 40,000 km, there were already 2 warranty claims.
First: Brakes - the pedal went deeper than normal. The solution is to replace the brake fluid expansion tank cap.
Second: Backlash in the steering. The solution is to replace the steering column.
I want to believe that all this is connected with the fact that the car is 2008 and therefore a little damp. I want to believe that these problems are eliminated in more recent machines.

what about the brakes? I went to the last Prado and LX 570 there were somehow not enough brakes ... but here everything is normal!

This is my first heavy jeep, so I think it's just that my head does not understand that such a car should not stop like a passenger car. That's all.
It is strange for all this to be on a car for such money, however, unfortunately, it is a mass trend in the modern car industry. Many of the problems that took place in my car, released in the third month of production of the model, were absent in cars released a year later. And now, after restyling , outwardly almost imperceptible, this is generally a redesigned car in the direction of the quality factor. The conclusions are obvious! Good luck to you!
