Door sizing and sound — logbook Toyota Corolla 2008

I just remembered - first of all, all the doors were glued in the car. And lo and behold (for some), bass appeared in the car;) If someone doesn’t want to change the radio and acoustics, install an amplifier - glue it, it’s worth it :)

Sizing:

1) External jelly from the inside - visomat MP
2) Internal iron (hermetically, without holes) - vibroplast M1
3) Plastic, in those places where it does not come into contact with iron - vibroplast M1.
4) Bitoplast on plastic - in places where the door plastic and iron come into contact
5) Madeleine - all plastic joints, + some places of plastic + iron, door handles.
6) it is recommended to seal all the caps inside the doors with a bituminous base from vibloplast (not related to the caps of the skin)

You should not get carried away and glue materials in several layers - there will be almost no gain from this, only the doors will become heavier, there will be a greater load on the hinges.

The price indicated is for gluing four doors.

I took it in Moscow, for 1800 pieces, the Intro brand seems to be. I ordered two pieces, the first time both came broken - they were whipped upon delivery. I sent the broken ones back, and a week later two new ones arrived, already both normal. :) Something like this.

Now, there is still one unnecessary lying around at home, the friend did not take it, and the car has already been sold)) If you were in Eburg, you would have taken it for a couple of bottles of beer))

I can't say how much, but it got better. I did vibration isolation, and not noise isolation, which eats up the lower middle and bass. All small knocks, rustles and squeaks are completely gone. Now, when I sit in other Corollas, creaks and knocks hit my ears. From the knocks of the suspension at the joints there is no escape - the design features make themselves felt. This is not a multi-link and independent rear suspension, as on more serious machines. Tire noise has been reduced.

And most importantly, the vibrations disappeared when listening to music. This applies to both electronics and live music. The sound became very thick.
The sound of slamming doors is quiet, "rich" and unobtrusive.
