Window lifter tsuka… — logbook Toyota Mark II 1996
In general, I was returning from the Gurevsky cross-country, rain, hurricane, thunderstorm, I decided to lower the glass a little bit ... I lowered it. The window regulator broke, the glass fell on the door. Fortunately, I managed to grab it until it disappeared into the open spaces of the door, pull it out, tighten it with my elbow and in this state drive home. Dismantling the door showed that the plastic mask was broken, which includes the power window cables from above and below. The upper cable was torn out of the plastic and it turned out that there was a pull down, but there was no counterweight.
After killing 5-6 hours, so in a dead state after racing to do at least something similar to attaching a cable ... Having disassembled the cable winding coil ... Having fully understood the entire technology of the power window, having sent everything, I solved the problem in this way.
The glass was placed on the side limiters for the height of the glass. There are 2 round stops on the glass. There are 2 shelves in the door. Turned the shelves over, put the glass on top of the shelves. Fixed. It turned out okay. The glass stands still, it does not fall up and down, but it fits snugly against the frame. The only cant is that if you go over 110-120 km. the glass moves away from the frame and begins to cut the air, as a result of which it is a little noisy in the cabin.
Unfortunately yes. and it happens ... And given that I have an unfilled air conditioner, lowering the glass is sometimes simply necessary (((
there is nothing to throw garbage out the window!)
My condolences… how much glass costs and how long to wait for the order?
Yes, with glass, everything is in order ... here you need to look for a power window ... all together ...
Well, you can even call it a disease. This is a very common problem and it has affected me too. Only I didn’t manage to catch the glass, because I didn’t open the door. I rarely open the rear windows at all, so I think it's still because of the women who, when they close the door, think it's a penny and slam the door with all their strength. I hate such people and then I ask them not to close the door anymore, but I go out and close it myself.
Vooo ... And I swear every time they clap ... But I don’t close it. The window lifter hasn't done it yet.
