Celica in the village — logbook Toyota Celica 1992

    Toyota Celica 20 1992

After an unsuccessful attempt to drive to the village on a Mazda ( www.drive2.ru/cars/mazda/…/288230376151728118/#post ) I decided to try the Selick.
The family stayed in the village, so I went alone.
And it turned out not bad at all - the sky above your head through the hatch, comfortable (and in comparison with Mazda it is so very comfortable) and the rumble like from a jet aircraft create the right mood. Moved at a speed of 120-130 km / h. like the majority in Kashirka. More stings only when overtaking. The maximum RSM-ke was 168km / h. Then it takes off — you need to replace the bench on the trunk with a bigger one.
There is no oil temperature sensor yet, and with a long annealing, it can theoretically boil.
In general, the Selick has a regular oil cooling system - under the oil filter there is a spacer through which the engine coolant is pumped. But the radiator is still full-time and there is little confidence in it.
In short drove without incident, everything is fine. Although pofotkav car in my head began to climb thoughts "and not to underestimate if this zhYP ?!"
a few photos (rear wheel spacers 3 cm removed so far, so stance sucks):

on the other hand: what a thrill to beat around Moscow without thinking at all about pits / cracks / ruts and other troubles ... and you can park on the curb - after Mazda it’s like a revelation for me ...
