Washing a friend (part 2) — logbook Toyota Corolla 2009
So, tonight there was an opportunity (against the backdrop of an irresistible desire) to wash my beetle outside of the plan (usually scheduled washing on Saturday or Sunday).
After the end of a stormy day of work, the car was driven into the courtyard, and the washing unit was assembled.
Unfortunately, the photographs cannot accurately convey how disgustingly dirty it was before washing, but for a general idea, I will post a few photos BEFORE!
The whole machine after the recent rain was in some kind of disgusting stains and smudges.
Using the device shown above, the machine was covered with a solution of chemistry from a foam generator
then, using a mud cutter (there is no time to buy a crevice nozzle), the foam was washed off along with the dirt and the machine was wiped dry with an absorbent cloth.
Here is the result!
Nice to see and ride.
Spent time about 1 hour, about 15 liters of water, and 150 ml. car shampoo (by the way, very mediocre).
It depends on the type of shampoo, I now washed with regular shampoo, and diluted it 1:3, contactless shampoo can be poured both whole and diluted, for example, branded from Karcher is diluted 1:5. For any better to read the instructions for the shampoo and do as they say. By the way, both wax (special) and rinse aid (when using high-alkaline shampoos) can be poured into the foam generator.
