Swap ICE. Episode three. — Toyota Corolla Levin, 1.6 liter, 1998

I was lucky with the flywheel — I found it in the city for 4000 rubles. Not on the first try, already started to think about a plan "B", in case of a bummer. I decided to leave the basket and clutch from fe. Enough for the first time, but it's better to spend money on something better than stock :)

Inspired, he ran into the garage and screwed all this stuff to the engine. And then according to the knurled pattern, but in reverse order. Dropped the engine into the hole.

And pushed it deep under the car about a meter.

His eyes are afraid, but his hands are doing it - until the last moment he doubted that it would be possible to move him in this narrow hole with one helmet.

Of course, I screwed up with the right support;) I didn’t find my own, I had to take it, it seems, from crosses, but for 4A-GE. I tried it on right after I bought it and it looks like it fits. Today I attached - alas - I had to collective farm an additional hole under the ear. In the photo on the left is native, on the right is for ge.

Initially, I planned to first hang the engine on a support, then pick up the box. But a more sensible idea came up - to put it all together directly on the floor (much easier than on weight), and then lift it up and immediately hook it onto two side supports. So I did - cheap and cheerful;)

And then it's a matter of technology. The main difficulty was in setting the crane in such a way that the raised engine hit exactly on the supports. And voila! :)

As soon as I fixed the engine, I immediately noticed that it looks much more organic and impressive in the engine compartment than fe.
Then the little things - I connected the braid and vacuum lines.
Slavcha arrived - they put iridium candles with fe in four hands, connected the cooling system hoses, dropped the belt from the hydrocha, so that it would not thresh dry.
At the moment, we have the following obvious troubles:
- exhaust with lambda (stuck at customs)
- no air filter housing
- power steering system (you need to collect a high-pressure tube and stick a bypass valve somewhere)

Tomorrow will be a very exciting day! First start! Everything is almost ready for it — it remains to put a new oil filter, filled with oil and coolant. And the key to start!
Korobas will be "dry" for now. With the drives removed, you can not fill the oil. But, I think, the squeezed clutch will save him :)
We put ourselves five plus for today and go to sleep.
