Pampering with diodes — logbook Toyota Sprinter Trueno 1999
The result is controversial, for an amateur ... To rewind time, I would not repeat this experiment, it is not worth the money spent (with overall diodes, it took about a piece for experiments, I returned the lamps to the dimensions). But it might be useful to someone.
Interior
lighting Contacts are taken from the old number frame with illuminated numbers. Before that, I dabbled in diodes with a regular base, but their brightness was not enough

The bases of the elements are the same (C5W) as in the photo above. But elements for 6 diodes.

Well, this is a matter of taste, although the light of an incandescent lamp seems to be more pleasing to the eye.
