It happened! We tried to change the rear bumper. In general, something especially difficult. But in some places it was necessary to cut the old one, because some of the bolts of its fastening to the brackets, which, however, would also have to be changed, because the corrosion had eaten them too. Well, maybe someday I will change it - while they hold it confidently. A pair of bolts were folded when unscrewed with a light movement of a firm hand. I had to cut off the nuts welded to the bracket and replace it with a regular bolt and nut.
Now, looking into the bumper, girls can fix their hair, touch up lips, etc. :about)

Unfortunately, the awful truth about the condition of the thresholds behind the rear wheels (body corners), which are hidden behind the sidewalls of the bumper, was revealed. It's time to think about welding. :about(

And further. The bumper metal is initially very mediocre. So far, we have limited ourselves to anti-gravel spray, but in the near future it will be necessary to go through the inner part with a good anti-corrosion material, otherwise this DSLR will not last long. Yes, and outside it would be necessary to "powder" chrome with some kind of wax coating, although chrome is a protection in itself, but I'm afraid not too durable.
