Tuning starts with the brakes! — Toyota Corolla, 1.3 liter, 1997

3 months ago in training, my rear brake cylinder leaked, well, so it means so, it was decided to put rear disc brakes on.
Calling the showdowns of the city, and viewing all the forums on which such a kit could be showed that the bolt is Eugene, and not the rear brakes. After that, a new cylinder was bought, the drums were assembled back. But the thought remained, I didn’t want to buy for 7-10tyr from broken cars, it’s an incomprehensible state, and the sellers are somehow strange. Bought for disassembly for 4tyr: 2 trunnions, 2 calipers and 2 wheel bearings from Truni ae111. When my friend saw what I brought, he directly told me that I was a moron, they don’t even take such a thing for free, the moron himself answered and went to clean all this shmurdyak from rust. Then ordered all the missing parts. And there were a lot of them:
1. Handbrake cable
2. Brake discs
3. Pads
4. Repair kit calipers
5. Brake hoses
6. New casings
7. As well as all sorts of different bolts, clamps.

Everything would be fine, but the brake hoses were constantly removed from the order, and those that could be brought cost 1400 rubles each, which did not smile at all. The thought came to me, to put reinforced hoses, there was also no ready-made kit in stock, and we don’t make it to order. Once again, looking through the statistics on the part, I came across a supplier in Yap, from where I ordered hoses for a pair of 1400 rubles!

Everything has arrived, I can’t wait any longer, I need to install it, swords have been purchased to restore the threads, everything has been cleaned and painted.

Everything is installed quite simply, except for the 2 notorious bolts that hold the trunnions down.

The main problem is to take them out, they rust there, stick, etc. I absolutely didn’t want to knock on them, because they cost 500 rubles each, for this very reason, for the last couple of months, once every 2 weeks, I drove to the lift, cleaned these places with a brush, and filled them with a bucket, after which I carefully tried to crank them with a crank. The bolts began to move slowly, which pleased! On the day of installation, I had to repeat the procedure with a crank, and after the bolts begin to go without clicks, we take an air pistol and scroll further with it.
I also had to buy new rear stabilizer struts, because it was not possible to unscrew them)) Bulgarian to help
